Most story feeds invite you to keep scrolling. GutterLore invites you to make a decision. Take an odd path into the unknown, see how it ends, or wander back and choose something worse.
A photocopied fever dream
The identity draws on screenprinted gig posters, misaligned photocopies, old zines and underground illustration. Its strange covers, banner art and original launch anthology were created for the app with AI assistance and creative direction. GutterLore Studio is the publisher's house label, not a real independent community contributor.
Write your own strange ending
Members can draft branching passages, check the story map, test-play their choices, save privately and publish. Our free Spark Machine remixes original prompt fragments into ideas; it does not write an entire story on your behalf.
A home for actual writers
Community submissions belong to their authors, subject to the platform's publishing license. We want expressive original writing, honest provenance, useful content warnings and respectful collaboration—not invented popularity numbers or synthetic engagement passed off as audience activity.
Still a living experiment
The app is an early community release. Feedback about design, accessibility, privacy and moderation is welcome through Contact; policies and technical controls will evolve as real readers arrive.
