What belongs to an author
Authors retain the rights they hold in their original stories. Publishing gives GutterLore the limited hosting and display license described in the Terms. Platform-provided covers and creative prompts do not transfer exclusive rights in those materials to an author.
Report suspected infringement
Contact the publisher, Syndicate Hub LLC, at syndicatehubllc@gmail.com, or use the Contact form and choose COPYRIGHT CONCERN. Provide the URL of the disputed story, the work allegedly infringed, a way to contact you, and why the posting is unauthorized. You can also report the story using the copyright option beneath it.
A formal U.S. DMCA notice generally includes identification of the work and material, your contact information, signature, good-faith statement of unauthorized use, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act. Do not knowingly submit a false notice.
Review and restoration
The publisher may temporarily hide content while reviewing a credible report and can remove infringing content. A writer who believes their content was removed in error can contact the publisher with an explanation and any supporting rights information. Valid formal counter-notices and restoration timelines are governed by applicable law.
Designated-agent requirement
For U.S. online-service-provider DMCA safe-harbor protections, a qualifying operator generally must publicly identify its actual designated agent, register that agent with the U.S. Copyright Office and follow the statutory notice-and-takedown process. A business contact email or general contact form alone does not establish a registered DMCA designated agent.
The address syndicatehubllc@gmail.com is the publisher's general business and copyright-concern contact—not a representation that a statutory DMCA agent has been appointed or registered. Until an actual registration and agent details are confirmed and posted, do not assume this platform qualifies for a DMCA safe-harbor protection.
Repeat infringement
Repeated, substantiated copyright violations may result in content removal or account restrictions. Requests can be reviewed case by case; we do not equate a mere report with proof of infringement.
