House fiction and creative assistance

GutterLore Studio is the publisher's house imprint. Its launch stories and serialized-fiction collection may use AI-assisted drafting, imagery or editing alongside the publisher's human direction and review. A story being labeled original house fiction means it is a GutterLore Studio production; it is not a claim that every element was created without AI or that every element automatically qualifies for exclusive copyright protection.

The Spark Machine currently assembles on-device writing prompts from predefined fragments rather than calling a generative model for each spin. Writers must check originality and the rights to any material they submit. Contact syndicatehubllc@gmail.com about potential attribution or copyright concerns.

Serial episodes, choices and continuity

Dead Frequency is an ongoing fictional anthology within GutterLore. A chapter is available to read only after its actual story is published. Unreleased chapters are labeled upcoming, with no invented release dates. A chapter temporarily hidden for a publisher review is shown as unavailable, without its prior public teaser or story link.

Different routes can have different endings. The optional PREVIOUSLY recap is hidden until you choose to reveal it and deliberately summarizes shared background rather than treating one ending as the only true one. Public story URLs and compatible saved paths are preserved when reasonably possible, but a revised branching graph can require an incompatible saved route to be cleared.

What the reader chooses to save

Reading an episode does not by itself mark it complete. A signed-in reader can explicitly save a route, bookmark a story or stamp an ending in the private Ending Passport. The Serial Station uses those voluntary records to show a private continuation suggestion; guests can read all public chapters without an account.

Following a serial is optional and off by default. It stores a follow preference in the signed-in account and enables private IN-APP notifications when a new chapter is published. It does not enroll readers in email, SMS or push notifications. Unfollowing stops future release notices, but notices already delivered remain in the private inbox until the reader deletes them. Account export includes the follow record, and account deletion removes the active account-linked record.

Writer submissions and moderation

Community manuscripts are private before publisher approval. The publisher reviews new submissions and proposed updates to approved stories; submitting does not guarantee a particular release date or approval. A staged revision normally leaves the last approved public edition available until reviewed.

Content notes help readers decide whether to enter a story, but no publisher can guarantee every narrative theme will have been anticipated. Readers can flag stories or writers from the reading page, or contact the publisher about copyright, misleading content, unsafe material or inaccurate credits. The publisher may hide a story while reviewing a concern. Moderation decisions can be questioned through the Contact page. No guaranteed response deadline or automated final appeal outcome is promised.

Transparency and governing policies

The Terms govern rights and acceptable use, the Privacy Notice governs personal data, and the Copyright Policy describes reporting procedures. These documents should be read together with the Community Guidelines, Accessibility Statement and Account Deletion details.

This editorial explanation is not a legal certification. A verified transactional sending domain, any applicable designated copyright-agent registration, independent legal and accessibility assessments, and Google Play review are separate operational requirements; a Floot build or this document does not establish their completion.
