Essential login cookie
When you sign in, GutterLore sets a secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax first-party session cookie. It authenticates requests to your drafts, bookmarks, account and writer studio. The app does not require an optional marketing cookie to use those features.
A signed-in session is designed to last up to seven days, unless you sign out or delete your account. Your browser controls how cookies are stored and may clear them earlier. You can browse published stories without signing in.
In-memory visitor analytics
The hosted app uses Floot's built-in page-view analytics in memory mode. The temporary analytics session identifier stays in JavaScript memory and is not saved in browser localStorage or a cookie. A page view can include page path, referrer, browser language, user agent and an approximate timezone-derived country.
This analytics configuration avoids setting a persistent device identifier for measurement. It still processes basic page-view data; see the Privacy Notice for purposes and service-provider details.
Changes or questions
We do not currently add third-party behavioral-advertising tags. If future features use non-essential cookies, the publisher must update this notice and provide any legally required consent controls before they are deployed.
You can disable cookies in browser settings, though logging in may then stop working. For privacy questions, contact the publisher.
